GIZ
The energy efficiency campaign 'Nawarha sah' was executed for 150 students in a timeframe of one scholastic year (2018/2019) to teach them how to reduce electricity consumption. All workshops were in the form of games.
"Nawarha Sah" was implemented in partnership with Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy and funded by one of GIZ’s committee’s which is The Egyptian-German Joint Committee on Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection (JCEE).
“Nawarha Sah” was proven exceedingly successful. The objective was to decrease electricity consumption at the students’ homes by 5%. However, the real decrease was 12%. The results were calculated by North Cairo Electricity Distribution Company (NCEDC).
Safe
Safe Kids is an Egyptian organization aiming to deliver psychosocial services in the field of child protection.
Safe chose Beit El Warsha, to design their first game ever “Safeelings”.
The game design process was a collaboration between by Safe and Beit El Warsha, then Beit El Warsha took it from there through the graphic design, the testing procedures, the production, and quality control. Safeelings was launched in September 2019 and immediately became the focus of the news and so many child-focused agencies in Egypt like the National Council of Childhood and Motherhood and UNICEF.
